Joe and John are ecstatic to be announcing the signing of Alex Skolnick, one of the most innovative and diverse guitarist on the planet. Alex's current projects include his work with Testament, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Alex Skolnick Trio and appearances on Broadway soundtracks. Rock House is planning on producing several different instructional DVDs across multiple genres with Alex. Among some of the topics to be covered are the techniques he uses to bridge Rock and Metal into traditional jazz pieces, an in-depth look at his legendary metal techniques and his unique scale and modal approach that allows him to cross musical styles. Kirk Hammett said of Alex Skolnick, " I love his work, putting metal songs into a jazz context is completely refreshing. Alex has updated the notion of what the standard is!"
