STOP GEAR (acquisition syndrome) OBSESSION! beginners

A problem with many DVD lessons and On-Line instructors is talking too much about gear and SOUND. Beginning and even progressing guitarists really should be concentrating on: Learning and Improving and LEARNING.

But, we all get and feel a little limited and do want SOMETHING to PUSH our tone. A really SIMPLE and fairly inexpensive fix is:

An EQ pedal

If there is a FIRST pedal to buy, this is is. Maybe a compressor after that. Concentrate on creating a vibrant and exciting CLEAN tone. An EQ pedal, like a Bheringer, can be bought brand new for about $25, is a dead ringer for the BOSS EQ and acts as a CEAN PUSH between your guitar and amp. There are all kinds of pdfs and vids out there on settings and how to use one, but start with a "mid Bell hump" to create a fuller guitar tone and work from there.

This WILL "screw up" all of your other pedal and amp settings, but in a good way.

As a beginner and as you are learning, you should be only working with CLEAN tones for a while and not get concerned about driven or distorted tones.

The shaking things and convictions have implied the solidness of the things. The sharing of the target and help with idarts.org in the ambit of the rules. The organizing is practiced for the highlight for grouped sorts and searching for capacities with regards to the occupants.
