New to the board and need help

Postby Bobcat316 » Sun Feb 10, 2013 12:05 pm

Hello,
I am Bob from China Spring Texas. I have been playing guitar (Left Handed) since about 1980. I play a left handed Les Paul classic to practice. Prefer a strat or a SG to play live (the LP is too heavy).
I bought the House of Blues "Blues Guitar course" at a garage sale and it had the CD's with it. The garage sale also had a Fender squire for sale. Hmm, maybe guitar was not their thing.
Anyway I am after the backing tracks. Anyone know where to find them?
Thanks
Bob from Tex

You go to "Lesson Support" on the top toolbar, then hover over the house of blues icon on the next page it will show the different programs. Click on your program and on the next page at the top of the page in the middle you will see a section with the backing tracks listed. You can either click on the backing track you want to jam to to play it in the Rock House backing trax player (located to the right of the backing tracks) or you can right click on the link at the bottom of the backing tracks to download them all.

Good stuff, just let us know if there is anything else at all you need... if I don't know the answer I can usually track down John or someone that does. :) I apologize for not welcoming you to the site earlier, I've been quite busy with work, recording, gig preparations, etc and totally forgot my manners. Welcome to the Rock House family, glad to have you aboard my friend. :D :D :D

I too am having trouble finding the download link for the backing tracks. The tracks play fine, but I don't see anything that looks like a link below the backing tracks. Usually, hovering over a link of any kind will turn the cursor into a "pointer finger," letting you know something is clickable. But that doesn't happen anywhere around the Tracks Player for me. Could it be that I'm using a Mac browser? I tried in Safari and Firefox, and still no luck. Thanks in advance for any help...
