The Learn Funk Bass DVDs take a two step approach with a Level 1 and Level 2. In Level 1 you will learn left and right hand variations, the G Major Scale and key elements of funk playing like slap & pop, thump, pluck, grove and timing. Also covered are octaves and how to put major and minor triads into full progressions. In Level 2 you will be encouraged to develop your own creativity and learn how to fuse funk and blues elements. You then graduate to more challanging techniques like the dorian thump mute groove, double thump, ghost note percussive and mulitple position scales spanning the entire neck. Throught the two programs you will also learn more about how Freekbass developed his personal style of play.
