JOHN MCCARTHY- BEGINNER METAL
My name is Drew, I am a U.S. military contractor currently stationed in Afghanistan. I started with John's "beginner metal" lessons. I just want to express my gratitude to John for a job well done. When I watch John's videos, I truly get the sense that he actually cares about teaching, and not just "turning a buck". Playing my guitar has got me through some rough times out here and John's lessons have helped with that tremendously. I am going for Rusty Cooley's "autopsy lessons next. I have sent Mr. Cooley a similar email, as he too is an amazing teacher. In short, I just wanted to personally thank you for all that you do for musicians. Please keep up the good work.

Hi John, I've been playing guitar and other string instruments professionally for about 12 years. I just bought my 11 year old son his first guitar and it came with your beginner DVD. I just wanted to shoot you a quick note and let you know that it is above and beyond any beginner lesson that I have ever seen. Your one hour DVD has as much information as months of lessons and you cover some ideas often left off of beginner (and even advanced) products, such as the "rock A" and adjusting chord fingering for speed. Excellent work, sir.
